Philosophy

Everyone has different ideas on what their ideal Web Site should look like. But one thing they all have in common is that they want their site to be noticed and remembered. They want a site that stands apart. After all, what's the point of having a web site that just looks like everything else that's out there?

So many people design web sites from simple programs which output the same, generic looking sites no matter how much you may change a few backgrounds and pictures. Sure, they get the job done in many cases, but they don't necessarily stick in people's minds or truly express the business that they represent. Many times the site lacks simple navigation tools or features that would make the site one that people would want to come back to.

Just as no one look is the ideal for everyone, I believe that no one tool for creating web sites is the "End-All-Be-All" in Web Design. That's why I use a variety of tools in developing sites and still do almost all of the actual coding by hand. I take a unique approach to developing web sites in that I try to give a sense of the company or individual whose web site it is within the design of the site itself.

But I don't believe that you have to pay someone an exorbitant amount of money just to get a site that stands apart. In my opinion, many of the people that offer to design a web site for a cut rate deal, but only produce a site from a cookie-cutter program are still taking your money. I design web sites because I love doing it. Yes, like everyone else, I need to make a living, but I consider myself lucky to have a job which I enjoy and am good at. That's why I can offer rates which are comparable to other Web Design services, yet produce a site that is truly unique.

I believe that, above all, the client is always right. Ultimately, it is your site and it is your ideas that I am bringing forth.
